Writing cursive p and P

Lowercase p has a descender. The body sits around the midline, and the tail extends below the baseline toward the descender line.
p finishes with an upstroke from the baseline that leads straight into the next letter, so you keep the pencil down through the word.
Watch the difference between p and q. Writing them side by side on one row helps.
Capital P reaches around the top line; its main body stays above the baseline.
